The Rescue Sport Series is proud to welcome Ocean Trade Supplies as an official Community Partner of the Rescue Sport Series, strengthening a partnership built on a shared passion for the ocean, community and growing the sport of lifesaving.
While Ocean Trade Supplies officially joined the Rescue Sport Series towards the end of Season 2, it didn’t take long for the team to recognise something special.
After seeing a Rescue Sport Series event on social media, they were immediately drawn to the energy of the competition, the welcoming community and the purpose behind the platform. What started as curiosity quickly became a desire to get involved.
Now, as a Community Partner of the Rescue Sport Series, Ocean Trade Supplies is investing in more than an event series. They’re investing in the people who make it possible.
Introducing the Ocean Trade Supplies Lifesaving Lucky Legend
As part of the partnership, Ocean Trade Supplies will become the naming rights partner of the new Ocean Trade Supplies Lifesaving Lucky Legend initiative.
Designed to celebrate commitment rather than podium finishes, the Lucky Legend rewards the athletes who consistently show up throughout the season.
Every competitor who participates in:
- every surf event,
- every pool event, or
- every event across both disciplines,
will go into the draw to win incredible prizes from Ocean Trade Supplies.
It’s a celebration of participation, dedication and the volunteers, athletes and clubs who continue to strengthen the lifesaving community year after year.
Because at the heart of the Rescue Sport Series is a simple belief: showing up matters.
More Than a Sponsor
Ocean Trade Supplies is more than an online marketplace for premium ocean brands and purpose-built products.
Guided by their philosophy of “Capturing the Spirit of the Ocean,” they are passionate about supporting the people who live, work and play on the water.
Throughout the season, the Ocean Trade Supplies team will be present at Rescue Sport Series events, delivering spot prizes at post-competition awards, connecting with athletes, clubs and supporters while helping grow the sport they have quickly come to love.
The partnership also includes an exciting give-back initiative. A percentage of every purchase made by the Rescue Sport Series community through Ocean Trade Supplies will be reinvested directly back into the Rescue Sport Series, creating a sustainable cycle that benefits both the community and the sport.
Every purchase helps strengthen the platform, support future events and invest back into lifesaving.
A Shared Vision
“We’re incredibly excited to become part of the Rescue Sport Series community,” said Garth De Nobrega, Founder of Ocean Trade Supplies.
“From the moment we discovered the Rescue Sport Series, we could see this was about far more than competition. It’s a community built around people, purpose and a shared love for the ocean. We wanted to be part of that journey. Through the Ocean Trade Supplies Lifesaving Lucky Legend and our community give-back initiative, we’re looking forward to celebrating the athletes who show up, supporting clubs and helping the sport continue to grow.”
Rescue Sport Series Founder Christina Mallion believes the partnership reflects exactly what the platform was created to achieve.
“From our very first conversation, it was clear that Ocean Trade Supplies weren’t looking to simply sponsor an event—they wanted to become part of the community and make a genuine difference. They immediately understood what we’re building through the Rescue Sport Series and have embraced our vision of growing lifesaving through meaningful partnerships. Their commitment to rewarding participation, supporting athletes and reinvesting back into the series makes them an incredibly valuable partner, and we’re excited about what we can achieve together.”
As the Rescue Sport Series continues to grow, partnerships like Ocean Trade Supplies demonstrate the power of businesses that choose to invest not only in sport, but in the people and communities behind it.
Together, we’re capturing the spirit of the ocean—and building a stronger future for lifesaving.
