The Rescue Sport Series extends sincere thanks to the 268 Technical Officials who served across the season. In recognition of excellence on pool deck, the WCAC has named Lauren Allott the 2025 Outstanding Pool Official of the Year.
A powerhouse of knowledge, fairness and passion, Lauren has served as both Judge and Head Judge, bringing clarity, consistency and integrity to every call. What sets her apart is her heart for athletes: she doesn’t only enforce the rules—she takes time to educate, explain and encourage, often turning a disqualification into a moment of growth.
Affectionately known as “Dreamcrusher,” Lauren delivers hard news with soft edges—always kind, always respectful, always focused on helping competitors improve. Her belief in every athlete, regardless of club, is unwavering, and her positive energy on pool deck is contagious. With her family’s growing involvement and her own rising leadership, Lauren is not only elevating officiating standards—she is helping shape the future of lifesaving sport.
The Rescue Sport Series congratulates Lauren Allott and extends gratitude to all Pool Officials whose expertise and care allow athletes to perform at their best within a fair, safe and supportive environment.
